These facts have brought increased berthing energy of the ships, increased berthing reaction, and the necessity of the best suited fender design. According to the recognition of importance of fender, some design standards are being published from some countries, which describe the procedure of fender design.

This system program describes the design procedure of fender system,which SRI uses and is also for use by the authorised customer of ours.

The Main functions of this system are as follows.

･ A user can calculate berthing energy.
･ A user can select a suitable fender system.
･ A user can receive a drawing of general arrangement of selected fender system.
